bracing.

Today is february 16. Two days ago i was at work and asked, "what's the date today?" also two days ago, kortney and i attempted to spend our valentimes night at deseret industries. They closed early. We found ourselves at the downtown DI in our pajamas. Then decided since we were already down there we should continue our night in our sleep attire.

We shopped in uggs, flare sweatpants, flip flops and ponytails. We considered going to a very nice resaurant in said get up but resorted to a french pastry shop. When we arrived, they had closed the kitchen and stopped serving actual food. We asked our waitress if she would bring some for us anyway.

She was perfect, so she did so. She also didnt charge us for our dinners. Turns out waitress-comradarie is strong, and i am glad to be a part of it. I would be more glad if i was not a waitress and just told people i was. Or maybe she thought we were hobos because we kept saying (in our pajamas), "were just reaaaallly hungry. Is there ANyway we can get some food?" pathetic. and good. i like pink flowers.

pie.

Sometimes I think I am a puppy. I smelled something good. So I went downstairs. Liz and freshman were sitting there. I walked into kitchen. I saw cookies.
I said, “Who made these cookies?”
Freshman said, “I did.”
I said, “Is it cool if I have one?”
Freshman said, “Yea sure… blah blah blah they are hard. Blah I don’t know how to make them soft. Blah blah blah I usually make good cookies. BLAH.”
I grabbed a cookie and took a bite. I started walking back up the stairs.
Liz said, “All you came down here for was a cookie?”
I said, “Yup. Smelled something gud.”
Sometimes I think I am a puppy.

be boring

Yesterday i thought of something that i had never thought before. then i couldnt stop thinking of how weird it was that i had never thought of it before. and also how stupid it was because it was so stupid.

Last night, taylor and i entered the Eliza R. Snow Performing Arts Building to watch alex sing opera. when we first entered, i had to pee very badly. I went into the first bathroom by the recital hall.

It looked weird.

It was bright yellow.

And small.

And it just reminded me of broccoli.

I thought, "This is the weirdest bathroom. i am glad that i have never been in it before."

Then i thought, "i bet alex uses this bathroom like three times a week. FOR THE PAST THREE YEARS."

Then i thought of all the bathrooms in the WORLD that i have never been to that people use everyday. Someone, probably tons of ones, have a favorite bathroom that i dont even know exists.

Then i thought of my favorite bathroom on the third floor of the Smith Building where i used to sleep on the couch during french every day when i had a broken pelvis.

Then i thought of the girl yesterday who said she had only been to the Smith Building TWICE. There is no way she has been in the bathroom on the third floor.

Anyway. There are so many bathrooms in the world that i dont even know exist. And i will probably be thinking about this all the time now. i dont want to think about bathooms.

Have a good day. I miss kortney. i want to wake her up. and i want her to wake me up. I am going to teach my editing class about conjuntions today, how byu-idaho of me.
